Gay Ann Rogers  Needlework

My Original Two Patriotic Hearts

On far left: Patriotic Heart

The heart is about 4.5" wide and tall on an 8" square of white congress cloth. The threads are either Kreinik braid or Fyreworks with Kreinik braid; they include Impressions and some white pearl cotton. The stitches are all needlepoint composites and a bit of pulled thread.

The instructions are 18 pages long plus a title page and a color copy of my heart. The supplies do not include finishing materials or finishing instructions.

I'm not a good seamstress and I send my hearts to a good professional finisher.

On near left: Peace Heart

Some years later I made Peace Heart at my friend's request. The supplies are essentially the same as Patriotic Heart.

The instructions are 10 pages long plus a title page and a color copy of my heart. The supplies do not include finishing materials or finishing instructions.

I'm not a good seamstress and I send my hearts to a good professional finisher.

Below: My Original Two Patriotic Hearts

Here are my first two Patriotic Hearts.  I made the one on the left about 18 years ago and have sold it often. Probably 6 or so years ago I made 'Peace in Our Time' at my friend Natalie's request. Now, because of my PLAN. You will find out about my plan  in my 9th Surprise Window about my PLAN, I am offering it once again

Welcome to Surprise Window Practice

I promised to bring back my original Patriotic Hearts and here they are in Surprise Window 5.

Unlike Carolyn's special tools, my Original Patriotic Hearts are (somewhat) unlimited,

so on October 17 you will find PayPal buttons or you may pay for them  by personal check or add them to your Drip List

(my finance program)
