Imperial State Crown History and Description
Some years ago I stitched Queen Victoria as the Fourth Queen in my series. At the time I stitched her crown and read quite a bit about the crown and how it evolved into Queen Elizabeth's crown.
I decided to have fun stitching both.
One difference between Queen Victoria's Crown and Queen Elizabeth's was the addition to Elizabeth's of the 'minor' (smaller) Cullinan Diamond. The 'major' (larger) Cullinan diamond is in the sceptre,
My crown is on white congress cloth 9" x 9".
Intended as an ornament, it could be framed as well. I stitched the crown mostly in Soie d'Alger silk and Kreinik braid, with touches of Burmilana for the ermine.
Alas, rubies, diamonds and sapphires are glass, but in person they do glimmer and glisten. The little pearls are indeed real.
The kit contains instructions, congress clothand all threads and beads. The instructions are 16 pages long with four Oversize Graphs, a color copy and a Title page. The price includes shipping.

U.S. U.K. Heart
By many requests and in solidarity with British friends, I decided to bring back my U.S. U.K. Heart along with Queen Elizabeth's Crown.
The kit includes Soie d'Alger, Impressions, white pearl cotton, Kreinik braid and/or Treasure braid from Rainbow Gallery and white congress cloth 8" x 8".
The instructions are 14 pages long plus a Title Page and a color copy of my heart. The kit does not include finishing instructions or supplies. I send my hearts to a professional finisher.
