Santa Sierra Square
Santa Fe Square is the first geometric I ever made. It is over 30 years old now, doesn't seem possible!
I remember, I stitched it and put it in my portfolio (remember, no computerized anything in those days) and there it languished for a number of months. Then somebody ordered it and I've been selling it ever since.
It is a perfect design for someone new to my designs and instructions. The pattern lists the threads I used but almost anything suitable for 18 mesh canvas will work.
The 13 x 13 piece of 18 mesh canvas, design is just over 8" square.

Years and years and years later, for fun I picked up the same threads and same colors and made a pair for Santa Fe Square called Santa Sierra Square.
It is the same size, on a 13 x 13 piece of 18 mesh canvas, the design just over 8" square.
Santa Sierra Square is a little more involved than Santa Fe Square, but they are, as you can see very similar.
Instructions 16 pages plus title page, 2 Oversize Graphs and color copy.
Why am I bringing them back again?
In the last year people have requested Santa Fe Square so here are the two again.
You can choose any palette of colors and the designs will work. Also the center squares, turned on the diagonal, make nice ornaments. I often wished someone would do them in golds and whites.
