My Comments: Nice set of Hallmarks on the elegantly simple stiletto from the Edwardian age.
My Comments: Look at how the fluting on the ferrule flows gracefully into the tulip shape of the mother of pearl. Very handsome blending of design elements.
My Comments: What a beautiful basetweave design on the handle of this reversing stiletto. Whenever I see little stilettos of this age and style, I have to wonder if Jane Austen ever held one.
My Comments: A beautiful ornate silver handle on this very American stiletto, just the sort I love. We Americans made some outstanding needlework tools and this is a good example. It will indeed make a beautiful laying tool for someone lucky.
We stitchers can be such clever people when we put our minds to it. Look what we have done: repurposed the more or less obsolete stiletto of yesteryear into the elegant laying tools of today.
My Comments: A pretty turned ivory handle with the rosy color of copper offsetting it, a nice combo. This looks like somebody will have a chance at a nice bargain!

My Comments: What a beautiful piece of ivory on the handle of this stiletto, simple and elegant, with the juxtaposition of the metal: the silver cartouche and ferrule and the multifaceted shank in steel. It must be very nice to hold.
