Snow Maiden's Heart
Of course I had to make a heart for Snow Maiden, so I did two: one of Blue Snow Maiden and one for Purple Snow Maiden. Each heart is approximately 4" wide x 4" tall on a piece of white congress cloth 8" x 8".
The threads include 4 colors of Soie d'Alger, Burmilana, Pearl Cotton for basting and 1 spool of Kreinik braid. The beads, jewels and pearls are surprising in number and include some of my best and favorite vintage jewels, all in four little baggies keyed to the instructions. I can never get photos to glitter as much as the heart glitters in person.
The instructions are 21 pages long plus a title page and a color copy of my heart. The instructions do not include finishing directions, the kit includes no finishing supplies.
I send my hearts to a professional finisher.
