My Cameo Projects

Day by Day I have added my Cameo Projects, and this morning, the last cameo design I stitched: Flora.

From long ago this is Jennifer Taylor's composite of Flora, both ornaments and one of the heart samplers. This was always my favorite photo and as I post it this morning, I think of and greatly miss Jennifer.

PLUS PETIT CAMEO HEART SAMPLER

Smaller Heart

If I remember correctly, after I taught Treasured Remembrance, I made a series of designs to accommodate smaller and tiny cameos and people could choose projects projects to suit the sizes of their cameos.

By then I had turned into a cameo collector along with several other stitcher friends.

On each of these projects there's an added flap at the center so that I can pin on a cameo and remove her if I wish.

In class I removed my cameos, lined up the projects and people could audition their own cameos.

Long ago. I had a great time doing this.

CAMEO COLLECTOR

From long ago another photo by my friend Jennifer, this little Bell Pull hangs in a narrow niche in our hallway. I stop and look at its cameos quite often.  All the pieces are separate as you can see by the one Jennifer enlarged. I stitched each, then joing them all together.
